Movement. Strength. Community.
What We Do
At Habit-Training, we offer structured coaching in a welcoming community where consistency comes naturally. Our sessions are designed to help you build strength, fitness, and confidence in a way that feels enjoyable and sustainable. Whether you're here for strength training, functional fitness, Pilates or bootcamp-style sessions, you’ll find expert coaching, a supportive team, and training that fits your lifestyle.
-
Build muscle, stay strong, and train for life. Our progressive strength sessions focus on proper technique, structured programming, and long-term development—helping you lift well and move better, no matter your experience level.
-
Named ‘The Engine Room’ this class is designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and build all-round fitness. These sessions blend strength, endurance, and mobility to improve the way your body works in everyday life—whether that’s lifting, running, or just keeping up with the demands of your day.
-
Fast-paced, fun, and community-driven. Our bootcamp sessions mix strength, conditioning, and teamwork to keep you engaged and challenged. Perfect for those who want variety, energy, and a solid workout without overthinking it.
-
The perfect complement to strength training.
Our Pilates sessions focus on core stability, mobility, and control, helping you move better, lift more efficiently, and reduce the risk of injury. Whether you're looking to improve flexibility, support your strength training, or just feel more connected to your body, Pilates builds the foundation for better movement in and out of the gym. -
Deep dives into the stuff most gyms ignore.
From injury prevention to nutrition to habit building, our workshops bring in real experts (and real talk) to help you understand your body and take ownership of your health. It’s not about info overload—it’s about actionable knowledge you can actually use. -
Cold water swims, hikes in the Peaks, quiz nights, and parties that actually make you want to turn up.
We’ve done Christmas socials, summer BBQs, Peak District adventures, quiz nights, cold dips, and the occasional surprise challenge—because building strength is great, but building connection is what makes it last.
Whether it's a Saturday bootcamp that turns into a pub brunch or a team trip that pushes your limits (and ends in a group selfie), we’re here for the kind of community that makes fitness fun, sustainable, and something you actually look forward to.
Why Did We Build This Gym?
We started Habit Training because we were disillusioned with the fitness industry.
Too much of it has become about appearance — chasing six-packs, body fat percentages, and surface-level validation. But we believe how you look should be a byproduct of how you live.
Our focus is on how you feel — in your body, in your mind, and in your life. We created a space where people can move better, feel stronger, and grow their self-belief — not just their muscle mass. It's about energy, confidence, and unlocking the potential most people don’t realise they have.
We’re not here to sell you fads, quick fixes, or ‘wellness’ products wrapped in shiny labels. We’re here to give you a supportive community, consistent coaching, and a place that values your journey — not your Instagram photo.
When you walk through our doors, you’ll be welcomed by people who actually want to be here. People who are at different stages in their lives and fitness journeys — all showing up to challenge themselves in ways that feel good, not punishing.
No egos. No mirrors. Just real people, getting stronger together.
