Strength Training

Our strength classes build the physical resilience crucial for a better health-span and quality of life.

New to well-being or looking to boost your physical and mental health? Our small group sessions offer support and expert guidance.

You’ll do exercises to increase overall strength, conditioning, and muscular endurance.

Using both equipment and bodyweight exercises, you'll gain the strength, coordination, and balance for daily activities, supporting a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Functional Fitness

Our functional fitness classes prep your body for real-life movements.

These small group sessions boost aerobic capacity, functional strength, coordination, and balance, making daily tasks easier and reducing injury risk.

New to fitness or focused on health and longevity? Our classes suit all ages and fitness levels.

You’ll work with our experienced team on exercises that mimic everyday movements like lifting, twisting, pushing, and reaching, using various equipment and bodyweight.

Outdoor Sessions

Our outdoor sessions are for anyone ready to prioritize their physical and mental well-being through outdoor exercise with like-minded individuals.

Held at Thurston Rugby Club, our sessions offer ample space for cardio workouts, interval training, circuits, bootcamps, and more.

Exercising in fresh air and natural surroundings makes workouts more exciting and motivating.

Ideal for those wanting to put themselves first, our classes provide a dynamic workout experience while connecting with a community sharing similar health and fitness goals.

Coach Sean

Welcome! I’m Sean, the driving force behind our community-focused fitness center in Thurston, Bury St Edmunds.

My journey in sports science began at West Suffolk College and continued with Applied Exercise Sciences in Middlesbrough. As a rugby player dealing with injuries, I learned that true well-being goes beyond muscle mass; it’s about holistic health and mental resilience.

Professional Experience:

With 12 years as a personal trainer and leadership roles at top local gyms, I've trained thousands of clients, led countless sessions, and hosted numerous events. These experiences have given me deep industry insights and a commitment to genuine health improvement.

My Mission:

Tired of profit-driven gyms, I founded this center to prioritize people over profits. We offer a welcoming, affordable space for expert-guided strength training, making long-term health and fitness accessible to everyone.

Core Values:

Trust and community are at our core. We serve individuals over 30 seeking sustainable health improvements. Our client-first approach and cost-effective services set us apart.

I’m an avid rugby player, enjoy cold water therapy, and am influenced by Stoic philosophy. I love reading, podcasts, running, hiking, and nature.
